Not only local, but nationwide background checks are verified for criminal activity. Financial history is also checked on a national level to insure financial stability. Drug testing is performed prior to employment and is continued on a random basis throughout the course of employment.

Once an applicant has passed these important steps then the training begins. All Lighthouse Security Orlando Florida employees, not only must attend classes given by Law Enforcement Instructors but must pass with an 85% or better grade, before they are assigned to your site. The basic courses are Public Relations, Personal Communication i.e.: Approach, Body language, How to deal with people in various situations. Self- defense Training, Radio Communication and Report Writing. Depending on the site and Clients requirements, additional training in CPR, First Responder, Hand Cuffing, Baton and Pepper Spray techniques.
